Good afternoon,
Please see the link to the meeting packet. SB 540 is basically the same bill from last year
which separates the community colleges from the FDOE. It includes several other
components, clarifies technical centers cannot offer classes for college
credit.
HB 423 passed out of committee this morning.
SB 540 will be heard at 1:30 this afternoon.
These are similar to each other, and are also similar to the
bill the Governor vetoed last year.
