Sen. Lee and Rep. Corcoran concluded their conference budget
negotiations last night. The complete budget with implementing and proviso
language will be posted later today. We will then have a better idea about what
was actually agreed to in regards to CTE funding. The placing of the documents
on all members desks signifies the beginning of the 72 hour cooling off period
prior to the floor vote by both chambers. The vote to approve the 2016-17
Florida budget will take place on Friday.
Here is the analysis of CS/SB 1060 which includes
many items we have previously discussed. It was place on 2nd reading
in the Senate last Thursday, but has not yet been placed on the Senate agenda
for a floor vote.
